OPPOSITE POLES ATTRACT

the ONE whose image most girls would swoon over;
the OTHER whose looks, at a glance, are but plain and pure.

the ONE who does most of the talking;
the OTHER who simply lends an ear to listen.

the ONE who cracks jokes at every instance;
the OTHER who generously patronizes his every humour.

the ONE who naughtily goes around to play;
the OTHER who's more than willing to be a playmate.

the ONE who treats and handles her mischievously;
the OTHER who's always open to tolerate his every mischief.

the ONE who kisses with so much passion;
the OTHER who reciprocates the gesture with so much care.

No matter how opposite these poles are,
the ONE and the OTHER, somehow, have the same blanket of comfort that they share.
