Maybe I get too used to Garuda Indonesia, flying with Thai Airways feels suck. I was exited actually to fly with Thai air since this would be my first time flying with them. Trying a new airline is always fun. Plus, many consider thai air to be an excellent airlines, better that Garuda Indonesia? They are even a member of star alliance, one group with a buddy like Singapore Air. But sadly, I am disappointed.
Okay, let's get down to the reason behind it. When the office booked me a seat with Thai air for a 3.5 hours flight to Bangkok, I was expecting full inflight entertainment. That's not what I got. No screen in front of me and only big screen in the cabin. Fine then.. So I turned to their inflight audio. And I was disappointed. Since I am a sucker for east Asian music, I went directly to Chinese and japanese channel. First off, I didnt get my Japanese Chanel and the Chinese channel plays only old musics, old enough not to be called latest and greatest as advertised. So, I turned on my iPod.
My next disappointment came later when the stewardess took more than 30 minutes just to give me the pen that I wished to borrow. Not to disappoint her tough, a passenger next to me is kind enough to lend me one.
I spent the time writing on my travel book, long enough until I realized the passenger next to me got served with special seafood serving (as requested, as I learned later). Again to my disappointment, it took a full 15 minutes before they got me. So, here's the thing about food serving on board with Thai air. Serve the requested food first and give the other non- requested later on. As if, the one who didn't order firsthand is not important. Suck!!!
In addition to that, I almost went viral when they didn't give us a water alongside our food. Man, come on.. Do you expect people to eat and eat, and no drink in between? What drove me crazy was that they went around asking other passengers if they wish to have wine. WHHYYY?? Only good 10 minutes later, just when I was about to finish my meal that they came to my row asking what I would like to drink. And when I zipped it in seconds, they ignored me when I asked for a second serving to mineral water. Great, you call that an excellent serving? What saved them from me yelling Them is good blueberry mouse dessert.
So, if you ask me will I take Thai air next time I fly to Bangkok, I will go with other choice. I will even put Garuda as my first choice. I guess,that explains why I was on the waiting list when I asked for garuda before I finally got Thai air ticket. And maybe, that also proves that Garuda maybe really deserve a tittle of most improved airlines by skytrax . A tittle that I had doubted till the moment I was on board with Thai Air.
P.s. the return flight to Jakarta wasn't as bad as the one to Bangkok. No light on the cabin showing passenger unattended needs. And I got my inflight entertainment which made me a little happy camper on board

What I missed!
Been away in Bangkok for 9 days and these are what I missed during the vacation:
1. My cousin's bday blast
2. Hundreds of emails
3. Four BBM Messages
4. My friend's wedding
5. Tons of SHINee's videos unattended
But I got what I always wanted: meeting SHINee boys again! ahahaha..sounds creepy but I was having a blast in Bangkok, attending KMW and seeing Taemin playing piano and the boys' sherlock choreo. It was a short meeting but I am happy all over
Tough I am sad with my iPod, but SHINee has thought me to become strong always independent. So, what can I ask for more! I made some entries over the trip so I will update them bit by bit =)

Mixing business with shawol pleasure
Off to Bangkok today. 楽しみにしています＼(^o^)／ 明日はshineeのコンセット! Can you imagine that? A month before I wouldn't expect myself to have another opportunity to see the boys again. So happy..
Actually, my trip to Bangkok this time is not for shinee boys. I was selected to attend Special Learning Program in Bangkok from 9-12 April 2012. I was ecstatic to enroll since I have been wanting to attend Internalworkshop from the first days I joined the office. As an officer whose job into give lectures and manage workshops, I always eager to learn from the regional trainer on how they manage their internal workshops. Let's be honest here, I've been running out of idea for introduction session and refreshment. An example from regional trainer would be mostly welcomed.
So, how could I not feel super exited when the opportunity finally came with my boss recommended me and I finally got accepted to the program?
Silly enough, my first wish is actually about shinee boys. Hehehehehe.. Call me crazy, but all I can mutter from my mount is a hope that there will be a shinee concert. And I got just what I wished for!
Some weeks after my acceptance announcement, I read an article that says that Bangkok will host its largest k-pop concert on 7th April. It means that I can enjoy it as well if I departed to bkk earlier since I have to be there on 8th anyway. The bad news was that no shinee on their list of performer. Meaning I have less desire to come to the concert no matter how much I like k-pop music. I will come only if shinee performs.
Well, there is a saying that goes like this : be careful for what you wish for, you might really get it. And what I get is what I wish for. Shinee was put on list two weeks after I found the article. Can you imagine how crazy I became the moment I read that news? I dig deep into the net and look for a way to purchase the ticket. God mercy, I found a way and pretty much a happy camper with the way the ticket is sold. I got myself a VIP seat, nearest to the stage. I am all happy.. But the excitement doesn't stop there. In March, shinee was having their comeback in Korea. Meaning, new song, new performance. Yaaaaayyyy.. After their new song called Sherlock was released on 9 March, I am all happy to learn that I will see their new performance live, first hand. Exiteeedd.. Their Sherlock choreography is amazing! And I hope they sing Honesty, which is my fave from the mini album.

Me and my IPod
To let go of something that has been your best buddy for 6 years is not easy
I flew to Bangkok today with a feeling of joy. Cause this is my first time here and my first workshop with Unhcr. Plus, I have a chance to see shinee boys. What can I asked for more?
Yes, a feeling of losing and despair. After I reached my hotel in Siam, I didn't go check my bag and stuff. I went straight into twitter and Facebook with my iPad. Without realizing that something has been missing. An important part of my life that has been with me for the past 6 years.
My iPod, my little friend..
My iPod has been with me for 6 years. I still remember the day when it entered my life for the first time. Someone was so kind to give it to me as a token of appreciation for my work. A beautiful present that left me speechless for many days afterwards. I had less money at the time while struggle to save some for the future. So, an iPod as an unexpected present was more than I can ask for.
Knowing how much it worth that days, I kept on restraining myself from using it. But finally, i decided to use it and I never spent a day without it since. Even until today, the day I finally lost my iPod. Somewhere in thailand, now my IPod lies.
I cried.. And as I call Thai's lost and found, they confirmed my iPod was not in the airplane. So, where it went missing? I don't know.. I really don't know.. I cried again but nothing is changed. Nothing.. My iPod remains missing and I missed it so much now..
It feels like I lost a soulmate. My iPod was always with me. Traveled with me everywhere. Literally everywhere. Sometimes I forgot to bring it, but only sometimes. It was there when I had a good time. It was there too when the times were rough for me. It always was there with me, through bad and good times. My sanctuary, my comfort pole. The songs restored there are witness to my ups and down. My saving grace. It never complained but one time when I need to reset it. But it never disappointed me.. So silent in keeping my hand and my heart.
I remember crying in the plane, in the bus, in the train along side with it. I remember singing, dancing and enjoying the moments with it. It is such a wonderful soulmate, gave me a sense of comfort that I can always run to. Its also a witness to my changing moods. Maybe it complained back then. How can a person be such a moody, happy in the morning but sad in the night. How come this silly girl cried over a song that's not even her love song. It must be confused and had a tough time with me.
But I never thought about that until the day I lost it.. So much pains, it dented in my heart. Will my heart ever recover? Mom said I can.. Yes, maybe I can. But I certainly do not know when.
Thank you soulmate. It's been a pleasure to spend 6 years together. Though bad and goods. Through ups and down. Together we sailed a good life. Now that you might have docked somewhere, I know I have to move on. Thank you.. Thank you for being with me all this times. Our moments together is precious. Thank you.. Thank you..
P.s. God.. I thank You too.. For giving me such a wonderful friend. Now its your turn to be my friend.. Be patient with me God.. I still a moody person as I was before. Please lead me to good. Amin

Super Show 4 Singapore
so the self-proclaimed concert junkie is back! And this time is Super Junior, Super Show 4 in Singapore!
I admitted that Suju attracted me first when I had my first step into KPop. Strange enough at the time when everyone is bandwagoning DBSK. But me is just me.. I fall for their variety gags in Full House and I've been wanted to see their live concert. And there we go, 4 years later, I made it with bestie Anida to fly to Singapore to watch the concert. Not to mention actually my mom came along since I wanted to celebrate my birthday by taking her to have nice vacation in Singapore. So, double presents it is.
Overall, the concert was fun, fun, and fun.. Suju is trully an entertainer. I love the concept of SS4 and since I like the album, I enjoyed the concert thoroughly. I love the songs and I love how much interaction suju boys tried to have with the fans. I screamed my lungs out when Donghae did the selca things with fans. That polaroid thing is really the one I should have the next time I attend a concert. I want a selca with Donghaaaaaeeeeee....
And I swear I changed my bias from Siwon to Donghae that instant. He is so freakin adorable and cute. I mean, lets be honest here, Siwon is gorgeous. No one denies it. Even his sex appeal went as far as 7 kilo away. But Donghae is just manly and sexy in another different way. So cute. I want to cuddle with him, really.. I waaaaannnttt....
Sadly, I forgot my lightstick. This is so no no in KPop Concert, mind you. Anyway, check out the picture I took during the concert

My first 2012 Post
When I checked the blog today, I realized that I Haven't put any update since December last year. Exactly after SHINee released their Japanese album. Since then, been busy with work and traveling. Traveling to new places and attend many more concert. I guess, I need to follow JongHyun's suggestion of dedicating your SNS to something. So, I will dedicate this blog solely to share my experience in traveling and doing the think that I like.
