Second (this year) with SHINee

I am all giddy and exited about tomorrow! 

SHINee boys will come onboard in Jakartaaaaa...

for SM Town!

Tomorrow will be our second meeting of the year. It would be a perfect time before our grand meeting at the end of year for their solo concert in Singapore. SHINee World Concert 2 which features some of my all time faves like "The name I love", "Start" and of course "A-Yo". I wish they put "honesty" to the song list but I guess I have to wait until SWC3 to hear that song from them.

You know what made me so exited? Attending their concert and seeing them in person actually beyond my craziest dream! not yet the wildest but certainly some of the craziest. Never before I expected this to happen. To be in their concert, not only once but three times in one year. To meet in the airport, to see them up close but not yet personal. Maybe that could be my wildest. To meet them personally.

All in all, my meeting with them made me believe that dream takes us far, sometime even farther than what we expected to. Being born and raised in a family that know nothing about spending money for concert and fangirling, I never imagined that I would have the ability and opportunity to attend one. More so, to be in a concert of the same artist for more than once. But God is Gracious, God allow me to dream and to have a job that allows to travel far. That allows me to spend on concerts as well. A dream job that allows me to fulfill my other dreams. So, I will not afraid of dreaming. Even when the dream looks unrealistic and no sense at all. Believe in our dream, you never know where life takes you..

Test Pack: You are my baby

"Saling melengkapi". Itu kata kunci dari film Test Pack: You are my baby. 

Berkisah tentang pasangan suami istri Rahmat dan Tata yang tidak kunjung dikaruniai anak di usia pernikahan mereka yang ketujuh. Berbagai cara sudah mereka tempuh, termasuk cara2 lucu yang kadang mengundang tawa seluruh isi bioskop. Salah satunya berkunjung ke dokter bernama Peni S. - yang oleh Rahmat coba dibaca tanpa tanda titik. HA! Masalah makin runyam dengan adanya campur tangan orang tua. Campur tangan yang dimaksud tidak lain dan tidak bukan adalah desakan untuk segera menimang cucu. Segala pertanyaan diajukan yang tidak akan berhenti sampai si jabang bayi memutuskan untuk memunculkan dirinya di dunia. Tapi untuk muncul di dunia, butuh usaha dari dua pihak kan? Nah, bagaimana kalau ada salah satu yang tidak berfungsi dengan baik. Tentunya hanya tahu sendiri jawabannya.. 

Diselingi humor ala anak remaja sekarang seperti "maksud nganaaaa", film ini seakan memberi tahu realita manusia Indonesia masa kini. Semua hal diukur dengan status. Dulu sebelum menikah, pasti ditanya kapan nikah. Setelah menikah, ternyata pertanyaan kapan punya bayi akan muncul. Nah, giliran udah punya anak, rasanya pertanyaannya akan berganti jadi kapan punya adek lagi. Wahai orang lain, bisa ga sih ga nanya begitu? Tapi kalau pertanyaannya dari orang tua, mau apa? Menurut Ibu, seorang Ibu punya hak atas anak laki-laki sampai tutup usia. Itu lah kenapa tokoh kedua bernama sinta diceraikan oleh suaminya karena tidak bisa punya momongan. 

Pernikahan oh pernikahan.. Mungkin benar kata orang tua, saat pacaran itu tiang ayunan tapi saat menikah adalah tiang gantungan. Mungkin juga tidak.. 

Lantas, kenapa pertanyaan itu selalu muncul. Ada satu adegan menarik di film ini. Saat Tata dan dua temannya bertemu di cafe. Si single mengaku bahagia dengan kesendiriannya. Si Tata sedang pusing karena tidak punya anak. Sedang si teman satu lagi disibukkan dengan suami dan anak sehingga dia tidak punya waktu untuk mengembangkan karirnya di luar negeri. Si single menganggap itu adalah konsekuensi punya anak dan suami dan setengah mencibir. 

Sebagai single women living in Jakarta with a good career, i must say.. Kadang ada rasa sepi yang tidak bisa digantikan dengan gaji besar dan petualangan kerja yang membawaku ke seluruh Indonesia. Ada sesuatu yang kurang. Mungkinkah pasangan hidup? Mungkinkah ekspektasiku berubah? Bisa jadi, dan bisa juga tidak. Karena setelah melihat film ini, aku mempertanyakan pada diri sendiri, siapkah aku berbagi hidup dengan satu orang selama hidupku? Siapkah aku mengatakan, cukuplah engkau melengkapi hidupku.. 

4th Kristik Project (1)

Been doing this since high school and I love it! Give me to have a moment to myself and to know that all good things took time and effort. This is my forth project and I am exited to see the finish picture. Then I wonder in whose house's wall this picture will be hanged.. hehehehe...

Looking for hotel in Paris!

I spent practically the whole night searching for good hotel in Paris for my december trip. But I found almost little to none that close to my budget limitation and expectation. Of course, with limited budget, I barely cannot afford a hotel that cost me more than 75 dollars per night. But looking at price range is difficult in Paris. I mean, I get only 1 that really suits. But it is located far from downtown. Oooouugggghhh.. I wish I have lots of money so I can stay in whichever hotel that come across good in my search. But that's life I guess.. I have to do what I can with what I got.

So guys, if you have any recommendation for a nice but cheap hotel in Paris, really do let me know. I am close to desperate now..

p.s. I feel like looking for hotel is as difficult as searching for your partner in life.. how pathetic!

#4 Japan Aiport Tumbler

#4 Japan Airport Edition : Airplane is the most beautiful creation man ever made and airport is my little fortress of solitude. That's what I always think and believe. So when I found this tumbler in Kansai, I am so happy and grab it. I love it so much I keep it on my desk during winter and autumn to warm me up everyday ^^

ps. Japan is so advance they now have separate tumbler edition. Haneda and Narita house their own edition.
